Barry will be presenting about his experiences in land restoration following severe drought in Africa.
Over forty years experience in design and management of civil engineering and natural resources projects
in California, Oregon, and Africa.
• Technical competence in civil and agricultural engineering, with experience in flood control and
stormwater management, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, natural resources management, soil and
water conservation, and water resources development.
• Extensive experience in all aspects of private and public sector project administration and management,
from the planning stage to project completion.
• Climate activist since retirement in 2015

• Registered Professional Civil Engineer (California)
• Accredited Professional in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED AP).
